MY APPROACH

Therapy is a space for self-discovery, healing, and transformation. With a background in theater, yoga, meditation, and psychotherapy, I bring a holistic and embodied perspective to the therapeutic process. I believe healing happens when we cultivate self-awareness and learn to approach our inner world with curiosity and compassion.

My work is grounded in the understanding that our past experiences shape how we move through life—our relationships, our beliefs about ourselves, and the ways we respond to stress and pain. With the right support, these patterns can be understood, softened, and transformed, allowing for a more authentic and easeful way of being.

My gift as a therapist is creating a space where you feel safe, compassionately witnessed, and unrushed—a space where you can slow down enough to connect with parts of yourself that are often overlooked or silenced. I bring the wisdom of my own years of emotional, physical, and spiritual healing, alongside extensive clinical training, so I understand both the tenderness and the courage it takes to do this work.

I approach therapy with warmth, non-judgment, and a sense of humor—because while the work can be deep and meaningful, healing does not always have to feel heavy.

who I work with

I work with adolescents, college students, young professionals, adults and couples. I work with clients seeking to heal from trauma, manage and reduce anxiety, reduce stress, improve their relationships, and/or manage chronic pain. I work best with those willing to explore mindfulness and body-based practices as well as those open to modalities such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems.

How I work

  • We slow down.
Real change happens when there is space to listen deeply—to your body, your emotions, and the parts of you that move beneath the surface.

  • We work with the whole system.
All parts of your mind, body and spirit are relevant to our work.

  • Depth with safety.
I pay close attention to pacing, consent, and nervous system regulation so that deep work remains grounded and integrated.

  • Warmth, non-judgment, and humor.
I approach this work with compassion—and yes, humor—because healing does not always have to feel serious.

outcomes

After working with me my clients experience:

  • An improved ability to compassionately and non-judgmentally witness difficult internal states, and to return more quickly to a sense of steadiness and equanimity

  • A greater sense of safety within themselves, including increased capacity to self-soothe and stay present with challenging emotions

  • Reduced emotional reactivity and irritability, with more space between stimulus and response

  • Greater trust in themselves, their perceptions, and their inner guidance

  • Relief from obsessive or looping thought patterns, and a more flexible relationship to anxiety

  • A softening of harsh self-criticism and the development of a kinder, more realistic inner voice

  • More fulfilling romantic relationships, supported by increased awareness of attachment patterns, needs, and boundaries

  • A deeper, more attuned connection to the body, including improved awareness of sensations, emotions, and stress responses

  • Reduction in physical pain or pain-related distress, particularly where pain is influenced by stress or trauma

  • A greater sense of agency and choice, replacing patterns of feeling stuck, powerless, or overwhelmed

  • An improved capacity for emotional and physical intimacy, with both self and others

  • An increased tolerance for uncertainty, complexity, and not-knowing—without defaulting to control or avoidance
